Whether hiking in summer or skiing in winter, the Apartments Elbrus are the perfect starting point in every season. As local hosts, we are happy to provide you with personal tips on hikes, ski areas, restaurants and excursion destinations in Val Gardena. As a ski instructor in winter and hiking guide in summer, Taddeo knows the Dolomites and their most beautiful spots particularly well and is happy to share his recommendations in person.

Tourist tax
Please note that a municipal tourist tax is levied in all South Tyrolean accommodation establishments. From 2026 this amounts to €2.70 per day/guest and must be paid separately to the host.
Quiet location in
the Dolomites
The Apartments Elbrus are located in S. Christina in Val Gardena, in the heart of the Dolomites, one of the most renowned holiday regions in South Tyrol. The quiet location on the edge of the village offers relaxation and at the same time short distances to hiking trails, ski areas and local amenities.
Hikes and mountain bike tours start right from the doorstep. In winter, the lifts of the Dolomiti Superski area can be conveniently reached by ski bus – an ideal alternative for those who prefer to leave their car behind during the holiday. The bus stop is only about 350 metres from the apartments, and the village centres of Ortisei and S. Christina can be reached in about 5 minutes by car or roughly 30 minutes on foot along a lovely promenade. There you will also find numerous restaurants and cosy cafés inviting you to linger.
A small grocery shop is just 600 metres away, and on request we are happy to organise fresh bread delivered to your doorstep every day.

Conditions
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. A deposit is due when booking. The remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival. The tourist tax is not included in the price and amounts to €2.70 per person/night (from 14 years of age).
Cancellation policy
Up to 5 months before the agreed arrival date, all contracting parties may withdraw from the accommodation contract without stating a reason and without any penalties or mutual claims.
Outside the above period, the contracting party may withdraw from the accommodation contract by written declaration, subject to the following cancellation fees:
- up to 4 months before the arrival date: 50% of the total package price;
- up to 3 weeks before the arrival date: 90% of the total package price;
- in the last 3 weeks before the arrival date and in case of no-show: the full package price is due as a contractual penalty.
Any deposits already paid will be credited against the contractual penalty owed.
